Hello!
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate birthdays, so prepare yourself for a wonderful mix of celebratory cards. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I’m crushin’ on the Tropical Oasis Suite in the Mini Catalog! I used it today to make my birthday card. Take a look:
I just love this sheet from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper! Such fun!
Here are the details:
- The card base is Crumb Cake.
- The Mint Macaron pieces are 4 in. x 5 1/4 in. and 1 in. x 4 in.
- The DSP measures 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.
- The sentiment is from the Geared Up Garage Suite and stamped in Early Espresso. (I love it when you can incorporate more than one stamp set on a card.)
- I used 3 in. of the Braided Burlap Trim and frayed it at both ends. I put Tear & Tape on the back and adhered it to the front and back of my sentiment piece.
- I adhered one of the Tropical Oasis Trinkets to the trim with Tear & Tape.
- I popped up the sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
That’s it! I hope you enjoy this blast from the past!
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jackie Beers at http://www.bluelinestamping.com. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Hugs!
Robin

I’m crushin’ on this pattern of paper, too, and I love how you’ve showcased it. Such fun to pair it with this sentiment, Robin! ♥ So glad you hopped with us today!
This is the perfect card layout for that beautiful piece of Designer Series Paper! And the sentiment – perfection! Thank you for sharing, Robin!
You couldn’t have picked a better sentiment for that paper. So so cute.
I always smile when I see this DSP used. My fella has a matching shirt. Just brightens my day.
So lovely – it gives a peaceful, easy feeling! The paper is gorgeous, and your card showcases it well. Thanks for sharing it in the hop.
This is one of my favorite paper patterns in this catalog. I love how you used the sentiment from a car stamp set for this car paper!
Loe this easy-going nostalgic look. Great combination going on here.
