Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPRING. Spring is a special time of year – it’s fun to celebrate the beauty of nature and to get back outside during this transition of the seasons. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Spring for me means flowers-lots and lots of flowers. I love getting my hands dirty in the garden. I didn’t have to get dirty for the flowers I’m showing you on my card. Instead, I’m giving you a SNEAK PEEK of a GORGEOUS flowered Designer Series Paper called Perennial Essence. This paper evokes images of Monet’s many Impressionistic flowered paintings. Take a look:
Here are the details:
- I kept my card simple so the paper could shine.
- There are many colors swirled together on this DSP. I chose to focus on Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow
- Did you notice the new ribbon? It’s called Organdy Striped Ribbon. I adhered it to a strip of Whisper White because the green from the DSP was showing through and overpowering the softness of the ribbon.
- The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow on the circle die, cut from the Stitched Labels Dies.
- To finish my card, I added some Powder Pink sequins from the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
- ALL of the products used in my card will be in the new Annual Catalog which launches the beginning of June!
Thank you for stopping by today.I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jennifer Spiller at Westside Paper Creations. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Happy Spring!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around GREEN. We are excited to share our creations with you today – there’s a wonderful variety of styles and occasions celebrated in this hop! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I chose Mint Macaron for my green color today. I think it’s a sophisticated color that suits my wedding card for today’s hop. Here’s my card:
Here are the details-
- The card base is Thick Whisper White Cardstock measuring 8 1/2 in. x 4 1/4 in. and is scored at 5 1/2 in.
- The shorter side of the card base is die cut using a die from the Lovely Flowers Edgelets Dies on page 5 of the Occasions Catalog. This beautiful die cuts and embosses at the same time. If you look closely, you can see the embossing.
- The sentiment is from the Special Celebrations Stamp Set found on page 32 of the Annual Catalog. I stamped it in VersaMark and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The matching inside sentiment is shown below. I also embossed it in silver.
- The Mint Macaron Cardstock is 4 1/4 in. x 5 1/2 in. I embossed it with the Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I backed it with a piece of whisper white and adhered it to the short flap to complete the card front.
- The rhinestones that finish off the card front are colored with the Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around BIRTHDAY. It’s always special to celebrate the birthday of someone you love, so handmade birthday cards are always fun to share. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
My card today uses the fun Geared Up Garage Bundle found on page 43 of the Occasions Catalog. I’m sending this card to my son for his birthday in April. Shhhhh! Don’t tell!
Here’s what I came up with:
Here’s the recipe:
Tranquil Tide card base plus a scrap to die cut the gears
Crushed Curry measuring 4 x 5 1/4 inches
Whisper White measuring 3 3/4 x 5 inches
Real Red Scrap
Pumpkin Pie Scrap
- Stamp the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black
- Stamp the bubbles from the Beauty Abounds Stamp Set up the right side of the cardstock.
- Emboss AFTER stamping with the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Die cut 2 of the dies from each of the scraps and adhere up the right side.
- Mount the Whisper White piece onto the Crushed Curry. Finish be attaching the piece to the Tranquil Tide Card Base.
This card is so easy to make! All the gears are small enough that one pass through the Big Shot cuts them all.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around LOVE. You’re certain to see some amazing ideas for Valentine’s Day in the hop, but there are other ways to honor love in the lineup, too. What fun! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I make a lot of Valentine’s Day cards and because I make so many, I try to keep them simple and sweet. Today’s card is a perfect example of this card style.
My card showcases the Forever Lovely Bundle and the coordinating All My Love Designer Series Paper. The paper is so beautiful and needs little to turn it into a lovely card.
Here’s the details:
- I used Crumb Cake cardstock for my base. I added a white panel in-between the card base and the DSP.
- The sentiment is stamped in Lovely Lipstick and features the corner dies. Aren’t they a simple but elegant touch?
- I mounted my sentiment onto a piece of Mint Macaron.
- The little flower sequin is from the Frosted Flower Embellishments.
- A Flirty Flamingo bow is the final touch.

Hello!
I have the cutest Halloween card to share with you. I made it using the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set. It is super easy to put together too! Here it is:
Isn’t it adorable? Here’s the scoop:
- The card base is Gorgeous Grape. I LOVE anytime I can use purple, and this purple is luscious.
- The 4 x 5 in piece of Gorgeous Grape is stamped with the Marbled Background Stamp with Gorgeous Grape Ink.
- The bat paper is 1 1/4 in x 4 in. It is from the Toil and Trouble DSP Paper Pack.
- The bat paper is adhered to a piece of Basic Black that measures 1 1/2 in. x 4 in.
- The elephant is from the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set. I stamped him with Memento Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I colored him with the Light Smokey Slate and Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut him out.
- The moon is a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock die cut with one of the Layering Circle Dies.
- I glued the moon to the back of the elephant and adhered them to my card using Dimensionals.
- The sentiment is also from the Trick or Tweet Stamp Set. It’s stamped on Whisper White and punched with the Classic Label Punch. I adhered it to the card front using Mini-Dimensionals.
I hope you have fun with this sweet card!
Until next time,
Robin

Here are the details.
- My card base is Gorgeous Grape topped by a panel of the same color stamped with the Marbled background stamp.
- I love the bat background for the shaker part of my card!
- If you look closely, you can see that I embossed my Window Sheet with the Swirls and Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- The cauldron is fussy cut from the DSP and so is the banner.
- The sentiment is from the set Trick or Tweet.
- I finished my card off with a sparkly bow.
