Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPRING. Spring is a special time of year – it’s fun to celebrate the beauty of nature and to get back outside during this transition of the seasons. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Spring for me means flowers-lots and lots of flowers. I love getting my hands dirty in the garden. I didn’t have to get dirty for the flowers I’m showing you on my card. Instead, I’m giving you a SNEAK PEEK of a GORGEOUS flowered Designer Series Paper called Perennial Essence. This paper evokes images of Monet’s many Impressionistic flowered paintings. Take a look:
Here are the details:
- I kept my card simple so the paper could shine.
- There are many colors swirled together on this DSP. I chose to focus on Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow
- Did you notice the new ribbon? It’s called Organdy Striped Ribbon. I adhered it to a strip of Whisper White because the green from the DSP was showing through and overpowering the softness of the ribbon.
- The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow on the circle die, cut from the Stitched Labels Dies.
- To finish my card, I added some Powder Pink sequins from the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
- ALL of the products used in my card will be in the new Annual Catalog which launches the beginning of June!
Thank you for stopping by today.I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jennifer Spiller at Westside Paper Creations. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Happy Spring!
Robin

Very pretty card. Love the DSP. Have a great day!
Oh, I can't wait to get my own Perrenial Essence DSP. I love impressionistic paintings. I may have a hard time cutting into it.
Love your card Robin
