Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! Spring is just around the corner, so we are sharing Spring projects with bees and birds. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I chose to go the “Bird” route for my card today.  It features the Crane of Good Fortune Bundle.  This elegant bundle can be found in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.  Take a look and tell me what you think.

Here’s how I created it.
Materials:
Crane of Fortune Bundle
Grassy Grove Stamp Set
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock and Stamp Pad
Basic White Cardstock
Smoky Slate Stamp Pad
2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds
Dimensionals

Process
Cut the Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 5 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in. and fold at 4 1/4 in.
Cut 1 piece of the DSP at 4 in. x 5 1/2 in.
Stamp the crane in Smoky Slate onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock and die cut.
Using the remaining piece of DSP, die cut the lilies and free hand the rocks.
Adhere the crane to the card front and then adhere the cut pieces around it.
Stamp the sentiment on the gray section of the DSP and cut to 1 1/4 in. x 2 1/4 in.
Adhere the sentiment to a strip of remaining DSP measuring 3/4 in. x 3 in.
Add Dimensionals to the piece and adhere to the card front.
Add 3 of the Opal Rounds.  (I used up some gems that recently expired.)

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Lynn Kolcun at Avery’s Owlery. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Happy hopping!
Robin
