Hi! I’m playing along with the sketch over at the Paper Players today. The sketch is perfect for showing off some of Stampin’ Up’s beautiful Designer Series Papers so that’s exactly what I did.
Here’s my card for today:
Isn’t it sweet? I needed a thank you card and this card is perfect.
Here’s the PP310 banner that was my inspiration:
Here are the details:
- I used Island Indigo as my card base to coordinate with the beautiful DSP from the Blooms and Bliss Paper Pack.
- The flower pots are from the Gift From the Garden Stamp Set. I colored the stamp with my Stampin’ Write Markers. The colors I used are Cajun Craze, Island Indigo, Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy.
- The sentiment from the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set is embossed in white, cut into a banner, and popped up with Dimensionals.
- I added 3 rhinestones for some sparkle.
This card is on its way to my friend, Gloria. She brought me a HUGE piece of homemade cheesecake and I savored it down to the very last crumb! Gloria also brought me a bag of jawbreakers for my candy drawer at school. She knows this girl loves her sweets! LOL
Happy stampin’,
Robin
This is such a pretty card…love the mix of DSP and the sweet potted plants. Jawbreakers?? I would be at the dentist every week!
Thanks Rosanne! The key to jawbreakers is not to bite them!
Robin your card is so sweet. I love those little tiny pots, makes me think of the days I worked in greenhouses with my parents. So glad you joined us this week at The Paper Players!
Very pretty. Love those blue's and the sweet little flower pots. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Players this week.
