Today’s card features the Butterfly Basics stamp set with a new twist.  I used a color combination of Sweet Sugarplum, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Tip Top Taupe.  Take a look!

Isn’t it pretty?  I love how soft these colors look together.

I used markers to color the flower in Sweet Sugarplum and its stem in Wild Wasabi.  The fern is also stamped in Wild Wasabi, but I stamped off once before stamping my piece.

The butterfly is a piece of vellum cut with the Bold Butterfly framelet.  I sponged the center in Sweet Sugarplum and the outer part of the butterfly in Rose Red.  I used Tip Top Taupe cardstock and a Butterflies Thinlets Die to cut the top part. I glued them together with spray adhesive.

The postmark and dashed line are stamped in Tip Top Taupe and the sentiment is done in Sweet Sugarplum.

My stamped piece was layered onto a piece of Tip Top Taupe cardstock and then adhered to my Sweet Sugarplum card base.

I hope you liked this color combo! What color combinations have you tried with Sweet Sugarplum?  I can’t wait to find more!

Happy stampin’,
Robin
