My card today is for the CYCI Sketch Challenge. I had fun with this sketch and I hope you like my card. Here it is:
And here is the CYCI banner
Using an Aquabrush, I laid down a watercolor wash in Daffodil Delight. The stamped leaves are from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set. I chose the leaves because they were similar in design and but differed in size. They match the hexagon shapes in the sketch. I stamped them in Cucumber Crush and embossed them with clear embossing powder.
The sentiment is from the Me=Grateful stamp set. I stamped it in Early Espresso and embossed it with clear embossing powder as well.
For the strip in the sketch, I used jute that I wrapped around the card several times and then knotted. My final touch was Cucumber Crush Blossom Accent. I then mounted my piece on a Cucumber Crush base with Dimensionals.
Ta-Dah! All finished! Tell me what you think in the comments below!
Happy stamping!
