Hello!
I’m always looking for inspiration when it comes to cardmaking.  My go-to is a good sketch challenge.  The group over at the Inspire, Create, Challenge had a sketch I couldn’t pass up! Please click on the picture below and check out the other challenge entries.

I have moved from Summer colors into Fall hues.  I think they played together nicely.  Here’s how I used the colors and the sketch together.

Now for the nuts and bolts:

  • Die cut the Gold Foil with the Deckled Circle Die.  Tip: Put a piece of copy paper on top of the foil to keep it from unwanted marks.
  • Adhere the Gold Foil circle to the card front.
  • Die cut the flower stems in Cajun Craze and grassy stem in Mossy Meadow
  • Adhere die cuts to the left side of the circle
  • Stamp the sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts in Cajun Craze Ink and then die cut with coordinating die.
  • Adhere sentiment to Gold Foil using Dimensionals
  • Tie the Linen thread pieces into a double bow. Adhere to circle using a Mini Glue Dots.

I hope you enjoyed my taste of Autumn!
