I am playing a Tic Tac Toe Challenge with the Paper Players today! How fun! With this kind of Tic Tac Toe, everyone’s a winner because they end up with a cool card. Here’s the final result of my game:
How did I get there? Look below:
Can you figure out which three in a row I played? Hopefully you discovered that my card matched the bottom row.
What girl doesn’t love flowers? I suppose girls that are deathly allergic to them, but I’m not. And I chose a pretty pink rose for my card.
I chose to work with the rose from the Rose Wonder Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I took a wad of Cling Wrap and used it to pounce Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo and Rose Red inks on my rose. I repeated the same technique with the leaves. I used Wild Wasabi, Cucumber Crush, and Garden in green to color the leaves.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Rose Wonder in Melon Mambo.
Now that I had the Embossing and Girly squares covered, all I needed was a paper clip. I added an adorable little hair bow clip under the sentiment.
For a little bling, I added a few sequins. Again what girl doesn’t love sequins?
This was so fun to make! Why don’t you hop over to the Paper Players and give it a try yourself?
Happy stampin’,
Robin
Such a pretty card. I like the texture the Cling Wrap gives and you used great colors on the rose.
What a pretty pink rose Robin and such an interesting technique too – I love the effect, I must give it a try sometime! Thanks for joining my tic-tac-toe challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Very soft and pretty! I love the cute bow, too. Thanks for playing along at The Paper Players this week!
