Hello, Stampers!
I made today’s card for this week’s Global Design Project. The challenge this week is to make a Thank You card.
I never seem to have enough thank you cards. I’m always making them at the last minute. My card today is easy enough to make a few at once for my stash and it’s cute too!
I’m excited to ink up one of the sentiments from the Love You Sew stamp set. This set is a hostess set from the Occasions Catalog. The sentiments are a bit corny but hey, I grew up in Iowa so it’s perfect for me. (In case you didn’t know, Iowa is a major corn producing state in the U.S.)
Here’s my card:
Isn’t it fun? I started with a Tip Top Taupe card base. I topped that with the ombre side of the green swirl DSP from the Perfectly Artistic paper pack. I love that Stampin’ Up! designer series papers have two sides! The hard part is deciding which side to use!
I stamped my sentiment in Tip Top Taupe and punched holes around it with two sizes of hole punches. I embellished the card with a few dots punched from Tip Top Taupe cardstock. It’s as easy as that! What do you think? Please take a minute to let me know.
Happy stamping!
Robin
Such a fun card, Robin. I love the colors you selected for the project and how you included the "punched out circles" on the corners. Great design! Thank you so much for playing along with this week's "Thank You" Theme at the Global Design Project.
Robyn, I love that sentiment – corny or not! As a crafter it really tickled my funny bone and I love how you interpreted it onto your card! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us.
Robin- truly adorable!
