Hello, Stampers!
As promised, here is my second post of the day. This card is for the Can You Case It challenge. This week’s challenge is a sketch challenge:
Here’s how I interpreted the sketch:
I embossed the background in black to give it some shine. The airplane from the Sky Is The Limit stamp set is also embossed in black. One of the rectangles is from the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper. I made the Lost Lagoon colored paper using the Baby Oil technique. I’ll be giving a tutorial for this technique in my newsletter next week. If you’d like to see how it’s done, sign up for my newsletter at the bottom of this post. I added a washi tape strip to the card. I finished the card by die cutting the letters for the word “soar” out of the Typeset DSP.
If you’d like to see more samples of this sketch, check out the challenge at canyoucaseit.com.
Happy Stamping!
